I will trust in You

Letting go of every single dream
I lay each one down at Your feet
Every moment of my wondering
Never changes what You see

I’ve tried to win this war I confess
My hands are weary I need Your rest
Mighty Warrior King of the fight
No matter what I face You’re by my side

(chorus)
When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust
I will trust in You

Truth is You know what tomorrow brings
There’s not a day ahead You have not seen
So in all things be my life and breath
I want what You want Lord and nothing less

(chorus)
When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust
I will trust in You
I will trust in You

(bridge)
You are my strength and comfort
You are my steady hand
You are my firm foundation
The Rock on which I stand
Your ways are always higher
Your plans are always good
There’s not a place where I’ll go
You’ve not already stood

(chorus)
When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust
I will trust in You
I will trust in You
I will trust in You
I will trust in You

A word for the waiting

For those of you who are in a season of waiting, in a dry and thirsty place, in a place where you are just “DONE” with it all, be encouraged that God sees you, Loves you so very much, and is not through with you. Sometimes it feels as if He has forgotten you, as if he cares more about “them” then he does you, but remember “feelings” are fickle, do not let them guide you but let Him (and His word) do so instead. Do what God is leading you to do, and you will see the JOY return (remember it IS your strength).

Take your eyes off your situation (yes I know it sucks, but nothing will change unless you make a decision to focus on what the Bible calls you too), and put your eyes on God, and I promise you will begin to see change. You were not designed to carry your burden; that is why when you do you feel so weighed down, so “depressed” so unable to go on. Give it to God (really give it to him) and watch him make a path through that desert you have been in for far too long. Then breath in deeply and lift up your head and see how good He is!!
