I waited on God and WOW did He ever deliver!!!!!!! You have to see what He did

rain

So for a while now I have been a bit like Noah, building my boat in the desert.

I believed God when He called me to England, even though I had no proof.

So I started to build my Ark, to I step out and do the things that God called me to do.

I did all I could do, and then I did as the Scriptures say, I stood.

I stood and waited on the goodness of the Lord.

For a season I saw not a speck of rain, not a drop.

I stood, declaring God’s goodness over my life.

I stood amidst the laughter.

But I am not going to lie, I was starting to droop a bit. I was starting to make other plans.

And then it happened….

Out of nowhere I felt a drop of rain, more than a drop actually, many, many drops…5,000 actually.

Yesterday I received an anonymous Cashier’s Check for 5,000 dollars to go towards England.

Yes, you read that right, $5,000 dollars!!!!!!

I am praising God for His goodness!!!!! I am publicly thanking the sender of the check!!!

You are awesome and I believe that God will reach many people through your generosity.

The money is now safely tucked in a separate savings account waiting for the door to England to open up.

My heart is not about going to Europe but doing Gods will. And God is faithful to bring to fruition that which He wills.

So now I wait on God with renew hope. Knowing that it will happen. God is good!!!

If God has put it on your heart to give towards England I will include a link  below.

If you feel led to pray know that I covet your prayers.

May God bless you mightily as you seek and do what He has called you to do.

Know that I am praying for you to, that you may feel the rain.

If we build it He will come (and bring this with Him)

boat

Those that know me, or have been following my story here, will know that I have one phase embedded deep within me…

God is Faithful!!!!!

So it does not matter that I look a little bit like Noah, building a boat in a desert for 120 years, because in exactly the right time, in His time,  I know that God will bring the rain!!!

It is in these times where we do not see God working that we have to remind ourselves of how faithful God was to us in the past.

Are you waiting on a miracle?

Remember

God is faithful to bring it!!!!

Do you need direction?

Remember

God is faithful to give it!!!!!

Do you need restoration?

Remember

God is faithful to restore!!!!!!!

If we are earnestly seeking His will for our lives, He will lead us.

As the John 11 reminds us, He is “The Good Shepard.”

So if you are submitted to Him then it doesn’t matter what it looks like in the natural, He is faithful to get you to where you need to be!!!

It really does not matter how many people tell you that you are crazy,or how many times you have doubted yourself.

God is faithful for His sake and for ours!!!

Keep building your ark!!

How to live an exciting life

choice

Sometimes when God shows us the big picture of what He is calling us to, it seems over whelming, or even undo-able. Yet when we take things step by step, keeping our eyes firmly focused on him, life gets fairly easy to manage.

Take for instance this blog, when God told me to start it, I did so in obedience to Him, and yet had my doubts on how long it would last, as my blog track record was something like 0 and 4. I started them in my own power and about five posts in they died a horrible blog death (whatever that is).

However this blog is different. God not only started it, He sustains it by putting on my heart what next to write about.

I cannot tell you how strongly I know that God wants you to

Expect His Goodness!!!

This is an area that we as Christians need to come up in, as most of us have various reasons for not expecting any good thing from God.

I know in my spirit that this is a topic that I will be writing more and more about in the future, but for this post let me just say that

if you are reading this God wants you to know that His Goodness has nothing to do who you are or what you deserve.

It has to do with who He is.

A.W. Pink states that…..

The goodness of God is the life of the believer’s trust. It is this excellency in God which most appeals to our hearts. Because His goodness endureth forever, we ought never to be discouraged.

How can we trust God to move in our lives in a great way unless we trust Him to be good to us!

If you struggle in this area ask him to show you why?

He is faithful to do so.

God wants us to be excited about what He is going to do in our lives!!!

He wants to watch and wait for His goodness.

Just like the photo above shows, it is our choice about how we are to live.

Are we to live a bored life, always focused on self (and what we can or cannot do in our own strength)?

Or are we going to be determined to live an exciting life expecting the Goodness of God around every turn.

Knowing that He longs to be good to us!!!

God Loves you and has great thing in store for you!!! May your faith be strengthened to trust Him!

Why I will not eat for thirty days

fast
“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.”
– Joshua 3:5

I may not know a lot of things, but I do know the voice of my Father God who leads me and guides me and loves me so.

I know that I can trust Him. I know that when He tells me to do something it is because He loves me and wants me to prosper in some way shape or form.

So when He calls me to fast I do not hesitate.

I am no stranger to fasting. I have done three forty day fasts, a few ten days ones, as well as other small ones.

I may do the fasts, but (except for the first one) I have never initiated one that has ever succeeded.

I know it is not that way for most Christians, but if I want to fast for days over an issue I usually last about half a day.

I get so hungry and faint, I feel like I am dying (It’s ridiculous I know).

But when God puts it on my heart to fast…it’s a piece of cake (oh wait that’s a pun…sorry about that).

I have seen such amazing things happen, seen Good open doors, shut them, or just plain heal and restore.

So when He called me to consecrate myself for ministry by fasting for thirty days, even though I was not very familiar for the term, I was ready.

He told me to start on the third day of the third month and to finish on April 3rd. Those days have meaning but more on that for another day.

I am excited to press into all that God has for me in and through this fast. As God puts it on your heart to do so, please keep me in prayer, and know that I am praying for you as well.

I am not eating solid food but I am feeding on the word of God.

And although I do not broadcast every fasting experience I do believe that God has called me to blog about it this time.

I feel as though He is wanting someone to know today that it is His grace alone that gets you through the hard things He calls you to do.

Sometimes when God called us to do something we get so caught up in trying to figure out how to make it happen that we forget that it’s not our job.

We are to come to God like children, not immature, but trusting.

For the most part kids really don’t give a lot of thought to how things are going to, or did, happen.

Christmas morning they are not deeply contemplating how the bearded man got the bike in through the glass fireplace, they are too busy riding the bike for that.

We have to stop allowing ourselves to get in the way of what God wants to do. We have to Trust and obey and let Him figure it all out.

Blessed is the one…

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. – James 1:12

Keep trusting God!
