A word for the waiting

For those of you who are in a season of waiting, in a dry and thirsty place, in a place where you are just “DONE” with it all, be encouraged that God sees you, Loves you so very much, and is not through with you. Sometimes it feels as if He has forgotten you, as if he cares more about “them” then he does you, but remember “feelings” are fickle, do not let them guide you but let Him (and His word) do so instead. Do what God is leading you to do, and you will see the JOY return (remember it IS your strength).

Take your eyes off your situation (yes I know it sucks, but nothing will change unless you make a decision to focus on what the Bible calls you too), and put your eyes on God, and I promise you will begin to see change. You were not designed to carry your burden; that is why when you do you feel so weighed down, so “depressed” so unable to go on. Give it to God (really give it to him) and watch him make a path through that desert you have been in for far too long. Then breath in deeply and lift up your head and see how good He is!!

How we get strength

“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;they shall mount up with wings like eagles;they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” . – Isaiah 40:29-3
