When Your future is unkown

All of us, even the most skilled, the most organized among us,

face a future that is unknown.

To many of us worry about it.

If we are Christian we can say with confidence

“My future may be unknown,

But my God is not!”

Instead of worrying, praise God that He will bring you through.

Do not allow what you “see” in the natural to dictate your feelings or actions.

Rest in what you KNOW about God.

Rest in the truth of who you KNOW Him to be.

As Heb 11:1 (Emphasis Mine)says

FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. (AMP).

Faith is an action word. It is a now thing. We are to be convinced that God is about to come through.

If you are going through a struggle  and your faith is week

Ask God to strengthen your faith.

Ask God to give you peace, and hope, and an assurance of a the best possible outcome.

He will do so.

And when the doubts start to rise

run back to Him again

He will always be there (even when silent).

If you want a great faith

This is where you get it

Press on.

Why God sent me a cat in the middle of the night

Cat

Most of the time I am super excited about what God has for me in England.

Sometime however, I am overcome with questions and angst about how it all is going to come together.

Last night, right in the middle of it, was one of those times.

The enormity of how much is supposed to get done in two months’ time, just plain freaked me out, so I turned to God and asked that He please calm my fears and give me peace.

I then heard a noise and turned my head to find my daughters cat (who was inches from my face) staring at me.

I picked her up and plopped her on my lap. She started purring instantly and fluffing me up before laying down.

This would not be remarkable except that this cat has never liked me. This cat loves my children but what usually happens when I pick her up is that she immediately scrambles to get away.

As I pet her and her purrs grew louder my fears grew smaller.

So why did God send me a cat in the middle of the night?

While it is true that God sent me the cat to calm my fears, and bring me peace.

The real answer is that God sent me the cat because He loves me.
