Faith is not logical.
But it isn’t illogical either.
Faith is theological.
It does not ignore reality;
it just adds God into the equation.

God is in the resume-building business.
He is always using past experiences to prepare us for future opportunities.
But those God-given opportunities often come disguised as man-eating lions.
And how we react when we encounter those lions will determine our destiny.
We can cower in fear and run away from our greatest challenges.
Or we can change our God-ordained destiny by seizing the God-ordained opportunity.

Sometimes faith seems like a denial of reality, but that is because we are holding on to a reality that is more real than the reality we can perceive with our five senses. ~ Mark Batterson
Sometimes we are waiting on God to do something amazing in our lives while He is first waiting on us to die to self and let go of that thing that we have been holding on to for far too long.
As Mark Batterson says, “God cannot resurrect what has not died, and that is why so many people are half alive. They haven’t died to self yet.”
For someone reading this God is saying “the time is now, let go and trust me.”
