That’s the day Noah and his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, accompanied by his wife and his sons’ wives, boarded the ship. …Then God shut the door behind him. – Gen 6:13, 16

As we do what God called us to do, he will open the doors that need to be open and Shut the doors that need to be shut. We are not on this journey by ourselves. God is with us!

If you are going through a season where some doors are being shut, take peace in knowing that it is God who is the one doing the shutting.

Pray scary prayers

 

I think we need to pray scary prayers. Prayers that are so vulnerable and so open, that they leave us open for being broken. Open for pain that will come in changing our bad habits. It’s not an easy thing, but I think that it’s beautiful thing. – Dave Frey (Sidewalk Prophets)
