Have a powerful year by doing this simple thing

Why are we so afraid to trust God?

Why do we insist on doing things our own way?

Is it that we have forgotten:

Who we serve

The great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments.- Nehemiah 1:5 (ESV)

His Faithfulness

The Lord will not abandon his chosen people, for that would dishonor his great name. – 1 Samuel 12:22 (ASV)

His Love

His loving kindness is everlasting. – Psalm 136:4 (NASB)

His ability

Is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. – Ephesians 3:20 (ASV)

We are not in this alone!

God told us to keep our focus on Him and everything else would be added to us because He knew the strength that we will receive when meditating on how awesome and amazing He is, is enough to get us through any situation that life throws at us.

When we keep our focus on our problems it is easy to find ourselves dragging through each day. But when we keep our focus on who He is, who He has always been, we are refreshed and strengthened and able to do all that we are called to do, and then some.

If you are tired of being tired, if you feel that you are just barely getting through the day, press into focusing on God.

Look up scriptures that talk of Gods character and meditate on them.

Let this coming year be the year that you stop living in your worry and fear and begin to live fully in the strength and power of the God who loves you so.

When Your future is unkown

All of us, even the most skilled, the most organized among us,

face a future that is unknown.

To many of us worry about it.

If we are Christian we can say with confidence

“My future may be unknown,

But my God is not!”

Instead of worrying, praise God that He will bring you through.

Do not allow what you “see” in the natural to dictate your feelings or actions.

Rest in what you KNOW about God.

Rest in the truth of who you KNOW Him to be.

As Heb 11:1 (Emphasis Mine)says

FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. (AMP).

Faith is an action word. It is a now thing. We are to be convinced that God is about to come through.

If you are going through a struggle  and your faith is week

Ask God to strengthen your faith.

Ask God to give you peace, and hope, and an assurance of a the best possible outcome.

He will do so.

And when the doubts start to rise

run back to Him again

He will always be there (even when silent).

If you want a great faith

This is where you get it

Press on.

How you can turn your bones into an army

God’s Spirit took me up and set me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones. He led me around and among them—a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain—dry bones, bleached by the sun.

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Master God, only you know that.”

He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!’”

God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God!”

I prophesied just as I’d been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.

He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!’”

So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army.

(Ezekiel 37:1-10)

If we are going to do anything great for God we have to be people of faith.

God expects us to life a life of faith, to believe that He can take the dried out, rusted out, burnt out, things in our life and make them new.

But God will not do it on His own.

He chooses to wait for us to step out in faith and tell those dry bones of ours to rise.

Do you have a troubled marriage? Bring it before God and start believing in faith for it to be restored.

Is your child going down the wrong path, or is your house about to be taken away? God can heal and restore as we call out in faith.

Will it mean that everything goes our way as we do so? No. God is God and His will, will be done, regardless if it matches up with what we think we want.

Yet, if we live a life of faith, one of telling our dry bones to rise, we will be amazed at the things that God will be able to do in and through us.

No more doubting, wining, and complaining.

We are called believers for a reason.

Rise, dry bones, rise!!!!!

Let us build an army of faith!!!!
