Fall seven times, stand up eight.  ~Japanese Proverb

On November 30, 1956, 21 year-old Floyd Patterson won the American Heavyweight Boxing Championship, making the youngest man to ever win the title.

Later when boxing historian, Bert Sugar who reminded him that he (Patterson), had been knocked down more than any other boxer in history.

Patterson’s answer was key to how everyone should live their life.

He said, “Yes, but I got up more times than anyone.

Floyd Patterson won the American Heavyweight Boxing Championship because he refused to stay down. He won because he stood up one more time.

Sometimes that is all it takes, just getting us once more.

I know that sometimes it seems impossible. We are tired and burnt out, but God can bring us back to our feet.

Be the champion of your own life, trust God to lift you up when you are down, never ever  quit!
