when the odds are forever in your favor

I left my job yesterday to prepare for the call that God has placed on my life.

While I do have some income coming in, all the little incidentals like food and heat, lights, and clothing are no longer guaranteed.

But I am really OK with not knowing how these many many things will be provided for. Why?

Because the job is not my source, God is!

I know that with God in control of my life, the odds are forever in my favor.

God has led me to step out in faith and to trust Him to take care of me and my family.

Because first God spoke to my heart about trusting Him, then I stepped out and I allowed God space in my life to do the work to step-by-step to built up my faith,I am able now able to step into the future that He has called me to.

This world is not our home. 

We are here for such a short while. We need to be less about comfort and more about doing the Fathers business.

If the enemy knows that he can control us through our money, then he will make sure we spend  a life focused on self, and never fulfill the calling that God has placed on our lives.

If we can just switch our thinking from trusting in our bank account to trusting in God, then nothing will be able to shake us.

God Loves Us! Here is How We Can Tell

What it means to have God as father

To know God as Father means to have a healer who will calm the storms that rage within. It means to have a father who will help you to “be strong, courageous, and firm; [and] be not in terror … for it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.”[1] To know God as Father means to know what it is like to have a father who is “gracious and merciful, slow to anger, [and] abundant in kindness.”[2] And it means being able to trust a father who will never hurt you or let you down. You can trust God! He is with you now.

Christmas Miracle

Jesustrust

This Christmas I have been led by God to forgo any presents for my children in lieu of putting the money towards time spent with them..

I have never done this before. Presents have always been the focus on Christmas when they really should not of been.

I sensed that God wanted to do something more, something much more amazing this year.

I thought it would work out great. That all things would fall into place.

But although none of my grown and nearly grown children care about the presents, they all have very different ideas of what they want to do on my tiny budget.

I felt led to share this (and the results) because I am Trusting God to somehow make a way in all this.

I am trusting God to bring me a miracle this Christmas.

To bring me and my family peace and joy.

His speciality.

UPDATE

I realize now that I miscalculated…we have ZERO money for Christmas, but I know this is just an opportunity to show how faithful God is…He has NEVER let me down before. Christmas will look exactly like How He planned it to look, I know this because I am giving it to Him and waiting expectantly for Him to come through!!
