Why today will change everything and how you can help

Signs
I have done it.

I have not done it well, but I have waited on God, I have wanted His will for my life and acted on it to the best of my ability.

It is now down to the wire. I am supposed to move by August 1st, and while He provided the funds to travel, no door has opened for England so by tomorrow will have a choice to make.

Today I am specifically going to spend the day with God, seeking His face.

I am getting on a bus and heading to a place where it will be just me and God.

As I was starting to write this blog someone posted on Facebook, “PROVISION has already been PROVIDED because of your, PASSION to PURSUE His PURPOSE and His PLAN.”

I am claiming that word. I believing God that He already provided, I just need to see His full provision in the natural.

Will you please join me in praying that I am able to get a job in England or somehow get in with a visa.

I have no motive other than to do what God has called me to do. I am willing to go anywhere or do anything that He leads me to do.

He has lead me to believe for the seemingly impossible.

Maybe because someone needs to see that He is the God who makes all things possible!!

So I ask again, fellow Children of God, please join me in praying God perfect will for my life, and the lives of my children.

As you pray for me I will be also praying for you. God knows who you are and what you need.

May the miracles needed in all our lives reach others for the one who gave His life for us!!

There is none of these with God

No shortcuts with God. Our second chance bring us full circle to the place where we have to choose full obedience. While we may want to find the easiest road to complete obedience, our heart must be set on doing God’s will – His way and in its entirety – even if it takes longer than we’d prefer or requires more effort. – Priscilla Shirer

Why we need to put down our paddles and pick up our pom-poms

cheer

I am a person who really does not like conflict. In fact I just ordered a pair of plain black glasses and was given a pair with black on the front and animal print (ick) on the sides.

Did I  give them back, insisting they be fixed? No I just decided to live with them. And I have.

But there is one thing that I cannot live with anymore. Something that it eating away at me.

It is the way we as Christians encourage (or don’t encourage) each other.

We are supposed to be a people of faith who simply believe. We are supposed to have a childlike faith.

And yet when someone comes to us excitedly telling us what God just promised them, the usual reaction that we have is to take out our huge paddles, worn with use, and smack that idea down so hard  as to shatter it in a million pieces.

We tell them all the reasons why it is not God, instead of believing that God does want to do miraculous things in and through His people.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we are to discourage other Christians from believing God’s promises.  In fact it says just the opposite;

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, … respect those who labor among you… esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, and be patient with them all. See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.”                                                  (1 Thessalonians 5:11–15, ESV)

Look at that!! Paul is saying that to do nothing is not a good thing, so when did we as Christians have come to believe that passivity is the best option?

No, Gods words tells us to not tear down but “build each other up.”

If we are told an idea by a Christian that we find hard to believe, we need to just cheer them on, and then pray for them.

If they are believing sincerely that God is telling them something foolish, and we believe that God is a good God, then why on earth would we think that we have to stop them from some horrible ending. If God is a good God who loves us, wouldn’t He make sure that even if we mishear, He will get us to where we need to be.

The world bashes us enough, and that is ok because they do not believe in a powerful God who loves them, but we should not be bashing each other.

Families are supposed to be our soft spot to land, so let’s be determined to put down our paddles and pick up our pom-poms and make it our business to cheer each other on and believe that God has the best in store for them.

We are called “believers” after all!!

Thank you for your response. ✨

This is good!!!

Part of what it means to be God’s children is to accept that He knows, and that He will bring what is best into our lives – not what we want every time, but what is ultimately best for us.

If we build it He will come (and bring this with Him)

boat

Those that know me, or have been following my story here, will know that I have one phase embedded deep within me…

God is Faithful!!!!!

So it does not matter that I look a little bit like Noah, building a boat in a desert for 120 years, because in exactly the right time, in His time,  I know that God will bring the rain!!!

It is in these times where we do not see God working that we have to remind ourselves of how faithful God was to us in the past.

Are you waiting on a miracle?

Remember

God is faithful to bring it!!!!

Do you need direction?

Remember

God is faithful to give it!!!!!

Do you need restoration?

Remember

God is faithful to restore!!!!!!!

If we are earnestly seeking His will for our lives, He will lead us.

As the John 11 reminds us, He is “The Good Shepard.”

So if you are submitted to Him then it doesn’t matter what it looks like in the natural, He is faithful to get you to where you need to be!!!

It really does not matter how many people tell you that you are crazy,or how many times you have doubted yourself.

God is faithful for His sake and for ours!!!

Keep building your ark!!
