It is never over with God

Long story short. My husband passed away when my daughter was only eleven. They were very close and she was acting out a lot by age 14.

I  got to a point where I didn’t know what to do.

I prayed to God and He said, “Don’t discipline her. Just love Her.”

I was more that a little surprised and replied, “God but have you seen her behavior. This girl needs discipline.

Again He said, “Don’t discipline her. Just love her.”

So I listened to Him.

It was not easy, but I stopped trying to change her behavior and focused on being kind to her.

That gave room for God to get a hold of her.

He lead and guided her in ways I could not. It was not long before she gave her life to Jesus and started making positive changes.

Long story short, the kid who at one time in middle school spent weeks in the discipline office, spent the last year as Student Body President of her school. She was chosen by the Senior class to be the speaker at graduation, and is going on to collage to study law in hopes of being a Lawyer.

When God asks you to trust him, when you know it is God, then do it.

Do what He asks even if it is hard or doesn’t make sense.

He knows what He is doing!!!

When you see no way out

This is a real chariot wheel found in the read sea. There are many more.

This is a real chariot wheel found in the read sea. There are many more.

Don’t be afraid! Be brave, and you will see the Lord save you today….
The Lord will fight for you, and you won’t have to do a thing.
                                             Exodus 14:13-14

“Just follow my lead.” That is the essence of what God told me morning after morning. Before I could even open my eyes I was reminded of how much I could trust him, and to follow His lead.
At first I was confused. I ask Him, “Why do you have to keep reminding me to follow you, haven’t I been doing so for the last almost sixteen years?” I asked Him.
I should have known.
I should have known then it would get a little rough.
Like the Israelites marching toward the red Sea I followed Him, unaware of the seeming unstoppable wall that would soon appear to keep me from the very place the God had called me to.
Not only were the Israelites faced with not being able to move forward and not being able to move back they also were also faced with the fact that if they stayed where they were they would appear to meet their doom, for the Egyptians were closing in behind them, and there was way out….but through!!!
God parted something that’s water volume is with a water volume of about 233000 cu. km.. Could you even imagine how hard that would be for humans to accomplish? The power it would take? And yet at the right and appointed time God did it. God parted the problem, God parted the wall that was standing in their way. And then closed it on their enemeys who threatened to destroy their dreams.
God is all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful!!!
There is nothing that He cannot do!!!
God wants us to trust Him.
God wants us to trust that though He has lead us to a place of what seems to have no escape, that He will get us to where we need to be.
If your back is against the wall and you see no way out, keep holding on to God get excited because you are about to see a miracle happen.
When you have no fight left in you, you are spent, God will fight for you.
Don’t give up, don’t lose hope. The Lord is on your side.
Yesterday a door appeared to shut firmly on England, but I will not lose hope, I will not lose faith, God lead me to this place and He alone will see me through!

How you can turn your bones into an army

army

God’s Spirit took me up and set me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones. He led me around and among them—a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain—dry bones, bleached by the sun.

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Master God, only you know that.”

He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!’”

God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God!”

I prophesied just as I’d been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.

He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!’”

So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army.

(Ezekiel 37:1-10)

                                                         —————————————–
If we are going to do anything great for God we have to be people of faith.

God expects us to life a life of faith, to believe that He can take the dried out, rusted out, burnt out, things in our life and make them new.

But God will not do it on His own.

He chooses to wait for us to step out in faith and tell those dry bones of ours to rise.

Do you have a troubled marriage? Bring it before God and start believing in faith for it to be restored.

Is your child going down the wrong path, or is your house about to be taken away? God can heal and restore as we call out in faith.

Will it mean that everything goes our way as we do so? No. God is God and His will, will be done, regardless if it matches up with what we think we want.

Yet, if we live a life of faith, one of telling our dry bones to rise, we will be amazed at the things that God will be able to do in and through us.

No more doubting, wining, and complaining.

We are called believers for a reason.

Rise, dry bones, rise!!!!!

Let us build an army of faith!!!!

For those who are weary

this

Did God give you are dream?

A dream that you have held on to, though the storms of life threatened to rip it from your hands?

Are you weary? Worn? Ready to let go from pure exhaustion?

Does letting go or turning back seem like your only option.

Ask yourself?

Would God ask me to stand in faith for something that is impossible?

Is there anything God cannot do?

Any door He cannot open?

Any heart He cannot change?

Any financial barrier He cannot surpass?

Don’t quit!!!!

Remember that it is only dark because dawn is coming.

Remember that you are not alone.

Draw close to God, closer, closer still.

Can you hear that? Listen for it.

God is saying “Be still child. Know that I am God. Know that I Am. I see where you are and will get you where you need to be, just hold on to me, just hold on.”

The secret to winning a championship

Fall seven times, stand up eight.  ~Japanese Proverb

On November 30, 1956, 21 year-old Floyd Patterson won the American Heavyweight Boxing Championship, making the youngest man to ever win the title.

Later when boxing historian, Bert Sugar who reminded him that he (Patterson), had been knocked down more than any other boxer in history.

Patterson’s answer was key to how everyone should live their life.

He said, “Yes, but I got up more times than anyone.

Floyd Patterson won the American Heavyweight Boxing Championship because he refused to stay down. He won because he stood up one more time.

Sometimes that is all it takes, just getting us once more.

I know that sometimes it seems impossible. We are tired and burnt out, but God can bring us back to our feet.

Be the champion of your own life, trust God to lift you up when you are down, never ever  quit!
